Squirm

Squirm is an exploration of the phenomenon when the switch in perspective turns something that was once sweet into something sour, and how attraction can transform into repugnance. The concept delves into the emotional complexities of the human experience, where the intense feelings of lust and desire can quickly become entangled with a sense of disgust and aversion. The visual imagery of Squirm is inspired by a rotten peach, where the two fleshy halves encase a withering core. The physical action of squirming can be a response to both pleasure and distaste. The title Squirm encapsulates the feeling of being entwined by both lust and loathing, and the realization that what was once desired has now become tainted. It highlights the uneasy feeling of being caught in a moment of ambiguity, where the mind and body are torn between opposing desires.
